Since Ancient Greek times, olive tree has been a symbol of knowledge, wisdom, strength, peace and longevity..! Kalamata olives, rich in minerals, vitamins and amino acids, have unique nutritional value and are worldwide known for their multiple benefits for the human body. Their antioxidant properties protect cells and strengthen our body in multiple ways. What is more, a diet of regularly consuming Kalamata olives reduces incidences of chronic inflammation, playing an important role in maintaining our good health and youth. Anti-cancer properties, strengthening immune system, protection against various diseases such as heart disease and enhancing memory are only some of Kalamata olives benefits to our health!
In the fruitful Messinian land, in Peloponnese of Greece, our family has been cultivating the genuine Kalamata olives, of the Kalamon variety, for four generations. Loving our place and its products, we respect our land and follow the traditional ways of growing and processing our olives! We have our own processing and storing facilities in order to ensure the procedures and the quality of our products, in a daily basis.
We are constantly trying to reduce the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers, using organic fertilizers instead, such as manure. In this way, we are able to provide our customers a clean and healthy product, with great nutritional value.
The collection of the olives is contacted exclusively by hand, without using implements in order to protect them. Then they are transferred in plastic crates, immediately, in the same day, in our private facilities, which are constantly checked for their excellent condition. They are sorted and placed in brine as soon as possible and under the most ideal conditions. In this way, their freshness and quality are guaranteed.
We supervise all the processing stages thoroughly and we collaborate with food chemicals and agricultural scientists, achieving a final product that respects our consumers.
